We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

As the Bible is the word of God, it is the Christian’s spiritual nourishment: “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” (1 Peter 2:2)

To read and study the Bible is not only a serious responsibility but it is also a great privilege and joy.

In order to encourage a greater appreciation of the scriptures we therefore run a weekly Bible reading in which a Bible passage is first read aloud and then discussed (Colossians 4:16).

As well as weekly Bible readings, we also organise special teaching meetings where local or visiting speakers provide practical instruction from the Scriptures.
